The main topic of the previous conference is annexation of Crimea and induced risks for ship owners and crew members. Primary topic for discussion at this event will be Arctic shipping issues and related risks.

In almost a decade of limited growth, the Northern Sea Route is preparing for a significant increase in cargo freight volumes in the next few years. The main contributors to this rapid development will be export of Russian raw hydrocarbons from the Arctic as well as growing interest of China and South Korea in taking more active part in evolution of this navigation route.

To this event we have invited the representatives of the Russian Chamber of Shipping, Russian and foreign insurance companies, top managers of shipping companies, maritime lawyers and surveyors. Experience will be shared by the lead insurance specialists, maritime lawyers and experts on investigation of accidents at sea.
